RULES & INFORMATION
VICTORIAN BLOKART CLUB RULES
The VBC uses the standard Club Model Rules as set and supplied by the Victorian Consumer Affairs.
We also use a set of our own in-house rules to assist the club in running a fun and friendly environment.
The rules are as follows, and in no set order:
SAFETY RULES WHEN SAILING A BLOKART
- Helmets are required and must be fitted correctly
- Toe enclosed shoes are required
- Gloves are not compulsory but are preferable
- Glasses/goggles are required
- Register with the duty officer when one is present
- Ensure the safety of other members, pedestrians and the spectators
MEMBERS DUTIES
- Help out fellow blokart members who need it (e.g. a newbie who’s needing help sailing)
- Make everyone feel welcome
- Be happy – a happy club is a fun club
- Treat each member as an equal, no one is better than any other person
- Know the rules of blokart sailing (nearly identical to water sailing)
