A few members went to Casey Fields on Sunday,  although we had lots of rain on Saturday and the winds were light on Sunday still the conditions of the track surface meant we could sail a broad reach course.

We had two new sailors try Blokarting, both people had a great time.  Yes the winds were light but it was enough for them to get a feel for the karts.

The council had been there last week and have put a roller across the second half of the track.  The grounds are in such a good condition that even with less than 5 knots we can get moving.

Considering that the surface is a road base material, the rolling has made it very smooth to sail on.

If you haven’t had a chance to sail this track yet I strongly suggest you come and try it out – you will not be disappointed.
