NEW MEMBERS WELCOME
Like any club, we’re always on the hunt for new members. We’re a group of people who are easy to get along with, and love the jovial banter after a days sailing. We sail most Sundays when the wind is ideal. Our home ground is based in Cranbounre, and we also sail occasionally at Waratah Bay, Sandy Point.
All ages are welcome and we’re happy to teach inexperienced members how to sail correctly. There are some rules, but nothing too serious.
Where does the fee go, part of it pays for the 3rd party liability insurance that the Casey Council requires each person to have. The balance goes to the club to pay for equipment used to teach and run our racing.
The Victorian Blokart Club is designed for members of all ages and all sailing capabilities. Family involvement is our main ambition, what mum or dad wouldn’t be proud of their children racing around in the blokart and showing off to everyone how well they can sail.
The club needs it’s members to become a strong voice, like they say, numbers talk, and the more members we get the stronger we will become for when we start to develop club rooms, storage facilities and equipment.
Blokart Hire
The VBC have a few karts we hire to individuals for $25 per hour. Bookings are essential, as the blokarts are not always available without notice.
